STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN
Steven
Curtis Chapman is a name that is known by anyone
and everyone who listens to Christian music.
His list of accomplishments include multiple
Dove Awards, 5 Grammy's, an American Music Award,
2 certified platinum and 7 gold albums, 10 million
records sold and 41 #1 radio hits.
In
2006 Steven went on tour to several Asian countries.
His concert for U.S. troops serving in South
Korea was the first Christian concert ever performed
for the troops in that country. A concert in
Shanghai, China was the first public performance
by a Gospel recording artist and the third-largest
concert in Shanghai that spring.
It
is Chapman's family that has prompted his own
awakening to the desperate current needs of
others around the world. Chapman is a huge advocate
for adoption; so much so that his family has
established Shaohannah's Hope, an organization
that provides information and financial grants
to families who want to adopt. Chapman remarked,
"It's all about what God is doing in every
heart, in every corner of the world, in this
moment.
Steven
and his wife Mary Beth have been married for
23 years. They recently suffered the loss of
their youngest daughter, Maria, in a tragic
accident at the family home in Tennessee. Please

MID CITIES PREGNANCY CENTER
The
Mid Cities Pregnancy Center opens their doors
and hearts to women in our community who might
be facing an unplanned pregnancy. Since 1984,
over 37,000 women have found hope and healing
through this vital, confidential ministry. Approximately
one quarter of their clients had positive pregnancy
tests, resulting in over 15,000 births. It is
a true ministry of life, where through the years,
thousands of women, men, and extended family
members have placed their faith in Christ.
They
are a non-profit, faith based organization,
supported by individuals, churches, and businesses.
